Self Portrait

I can settle quite comfortably in a small charming coffee house, where I use the aroma of strong dark roasted coffee beans to give my brain a jolt of energy, letting my fingers orchestrate their way across the keyboard; I love the thrill of seeing beautiful words as they appear on the page and how they navigate themselves so smoothly into stories. This is a simple personal pleasure for me.

A few years ago, everything changed when I discovered photography and how it allowed me the same movement and clarity of storytelling… I have enjoyed my hand at this new form of expression; capturing visuals of some of my most profound experiences. When story telling through a camera lens, I realize that each image is different and speaks differently and each a story of its own. I believe that photography and writing co-exist – creating art that feeds the curiosity. The camera has become my playground visually; and my writings continue to provide me with a space for storytelling .. it is my expression – it is what I have to share.
